Congratulations to our company for the approval of the CEC data. It has officially become the CEC authorized laboratory. We can undertake CEC certification from now on.
CEC certification is the Efficiency Regulation (Appliance Energy Commission) implemented in December 30, 2005 by the California Energy Council in the United states. The purpose of this regulation is to improve the efficiency of electricity products, save energy, reduce gas emissions and greenhouse effect.
With more and more electronic products appearing in daily life, "energy saving" will become an urgent problem that all of us must face in twenty-first Century. The California Energy Commission (California Energy Commission) coming in July 1, 2006 for AC-DC and AC-AC external energy use efficiency of the implementation of mandatory standards, new at that time, almost all electronic products will suffer.
This standard will cover all of the use of external power supply (such as charger and adapter) products, including mobile phone, cordless telephones, portable music players, handheld games, toys, and requirements of these products in the standby state and in a more efficient way of energy use.
This means that in the middle of 2006, all transformers, external, adapters, and chargers that are used in the United States and sold to the United States must change design.
In addition to energy savings, CEC's new norms will also have a major impact on environmental protection. The regulations stipulate that electrical products must be satisfied with the equipment energy efficiency regulations when they are sold in California, the United States. The regulations stipulate the energy efficiency index requirements, measurement methods and phased implementation plans for the 58 types of electrical products. In accordance with the requirements of this regulation, electrical products must be tested by the qualification laboratory in accordance with the relevant laws and standards of the United States, and proved to meet the requirements before they can be sold in California, USA
